Johnny Dep talks cock!

Johnny Depp thinks it was “stupid” to “hold back” the cocks in scenes for his new movie.
The actor stars in The Rum Diary which is based on the best-selling book by the late journalist and writer Hunter S. Thompson and cockfighting features in the film but to shoot the scenes they had to follow the American Humane Association rules which meant the fights were less barbaric.
“They harnessed the cocks with pieces of invisible monofilament (to stop them going for the kill). We did hold them back. We did. I think it was stupid,” he said.
Johnny also revealed how they had to change some of the scenes from the book to fit the movie but he believes his friend Hunter who he portrayed in the movie Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas would’ve approved.
“The most arduous part of making it was just every day sort of policing it, being the police of what Hunter would or would have wanted, and really going, All right, here’s the scene. That’s great. Here’s a scene, but we have to police this scene,” he said.
“Some things work in books that just don’t work in movies and Hunter understood that. He understood it. He understood.”
