Johnny Depp 'I'm truly sorry about rape comments'

Johnny Depp is eating humble pie.
The actor has been forced to apologize after comparing taking part in a photoshoot to being raped.
Depp says he’s “truly sorry” for any offense caused after his comments to Vanity Fair.
He said of having his picture taken, “You just feel like you’re being raped somehow. Raped. The whole thing.”
In his apology, Depp said, “It was a poor choice of words on my part in an effort to explain a feeling. I understand there is no comparison and I am very regretful.
“In an effort to correct my lack of judgement, please accept my heartfelt apology.”
The Rape, Abuse & Incest National Network criticized Depp’s comments saying that /;while photos may feel at times intrusive, being photographed in no way compares to rape.
“We hope to work with him to provide hope to victims of rape and make sure they get the help they deserve.”
