Michelle Williams follows her heart

Michelle Williams went against her better judgment in taking the role of Marilyn Monroe.
The former Dawson’s Creak star says she followed her heart instead of her mind in playing the screen legend in new movie My Week with Marilyn.
“I guess I am a glutton for punishment because for some reason, I won’t let myself shrink from a challenge,” says Michelle.
“I think that’s how I find myself in these situations, making these movies; while my intellect is saying retreat, retreat, retreat! my heart is already there. That’s just how I make a decision.”
Williams who sought legal emancipation from her parents at 15 to make it easier to embark on an acting career recently claimed there are “no limits and no rules” in Hollywood.
“There were no limits, no rules. I made mistakes and tried to implement my own safety rules,” she said.
“I thought of it like those partitions you have at bowling alleys the stuff I will do, the stuff that I won’t do. Although I still veered crazily across the lanes, I didn’t fall in the gutter.”
