Ryan Gosling 'Child stars are weird'

Ryan Gosling thinks Hollywood’s child star are “weirdos”.
The Drive hunk was a junior star himself and while he doesn’t regret his unusual upbringing he does admit the experience made him, like all child stars, a little crazy.
“It turns you into a real weirdo if you’re a kid actor but it’s great training,” says Ryan.
“It’s hard to make the jump from being a child actor to an adult actor because it’s hard to change people’s perceptions of you. It was very difficult.”
Gosling recently revealed that no one wants him to be a superhero!
The actor admits he’s keen to play a caped-crusader, but hasn’t been offered any roles.
“I really wanted to make a super-hero film but all the good ones were taken so I thought I would have to make my own at this point,” Gosling said.
“But when I read this script [Drive] I thought there was a way to do that with this stunt driver stuck in the mythology of movies, and that he had become so far removed and watched so many movies, that he started to see his life as one.
“It was one of the most amazing times I’ve ever had preparing for a film. Basically we would show up to an empty parking lot, there would be a new Mustang or new Camaro and we would drive it until it starts smoking and wouldn’t run anymore.
“And then someone would take it away and we’d go home and wait for someone to either fix the car or bring us a new one, and then would just do it again.”
