Hugh Laurie is going a little crazy from being in House for so long.
The 52-year-old actor has become a huge star through playing unlikely sex symbol Dr Gregory House in the US medical drama but after seven years in the role, he’s eying an exit.
“It is strange to be playing this one role for this long,” admits Hugh.
“Actors become actors in order to do precisely the opposite and just keep changing things so I am looking forward to the day that comes.”
Hugh revealed in May that he thinks his run on the show will soon come to an end after shooting on the eighth season concludes this summer.
“The end of that season, right now looks like the end of the show,” he said. “Well, that’s as far as they’ve got me for.”
