Jennifer Aniston splashes the cash on painting!
The sexy actress attended a charity auction in New York on Thursday night, and reportedly spent $450,000 on a single piece to contribute to a total amount of $13,662,000 raised for health and eduction in Haiti, which is still recovering from the natural disasters that hit the Caribbean island last year.
Aniston who hit up the event with beau Justin Theroux didn’t make the winning bid herself but “clapped enthusiastically” as Theroux raised his hand. The artwork she won is titled ‘Stranger #44,’ an abstract work of oil, graphite and charcoal on canvas by artist Glenn Ligon.
Co-hosting the auction was Ben Stillerwho also hosted a dinner for his own charity this week, The Stiller Foundation, which saw Aniston and Theroux attend alongside actress Susan Sarandon and music producer Mike Jean.
As recently reported that the couple are keen to start a family together as soon as possible!
“They have talked at length about getting married and starting a family,” an insider said.
“She is anxious for the next phase of her life and feels like this is the time.
“They both want it to happen soon.
“Jen hasn’t felt this way about anyone since ex-husband Brad Pitt.
“They are moving quickly, but they know the feelings they have about [each other] are different from past romances.”
