Simon Cowell 'I paid ex-girlfriends money to keep quiet?'

Simon Cowell has revealed why he pays off his girlfriends after splitting with them.
The millionaire music mogul who has dated the likes of Sinitta and Terri Seymour in the past said he feels it is right to help some of his exes financially.
“You can’t have somebody in your life who’s become accustomed to a certain thing and, just because you don’t want to be in a relationship any more, say to them ‘no, everything is cut off,” he said.
Cowell insisted that “it’s not alimony” and that he’s doing “the right thing” by helping certain people.
Cowell recently revealed he wants the US X Factor to be more successful thanAmerican Idol.
The music mogul who quit as a judge on American Idol to kick start the new version of the pop star search show will “die trying” to be the most watched program, and he is confident The X Factor will become the best series of its kind.
“You don’t compete for the silver or the bronze, you may not get the gold, but you die trying. It’s definitely going to be better than the other shows,” he said.
Simon’s departure from American Idol led to a revamp of the judges with Jennifer Lopez and Steven Tyler joining Randy Jackson on the panel, and he claims he isn’t impressed by them.
“It’s not my cup of tea,” he added.
