Elizabeth Hurley is being plagued by mosquitoes while in New York.
The model-and-actress endured a sleepless night in the Big Apple due to one of the buzzing bloodsucking insects biting her all evening.
“Sleepless night due to a mosquito buzzing in my ear. Surely u don’t need a mosquito net in NYC?!” she wrote on Twitter.
Hurley is in New York shooting the new photos for the next collection of her swimwear range, and the shoot has been going well.
In another posting on twitter she wrote, she said, “In NY shooting our swim pics for our website. Our model is beautiful…”
Perhaps Hurley needs to enlist the help of a spider to deal with her mosquito problem.
The 46-year-old star is not scared of arachnids who feed on insects and she recently took to her twitter page to praise the eight-legged beasties.
Hurley who is dating Australian cricket legend Shane Warne wrote, “Did u know, a spider eats about 2000 insects a year? Without spiders, the world would be overrun with bugs. So there. (sic)”
