Kate Gosselin has been slapped with a $174 fine after she was caught speeding.
The Kate Plus 8 star was forced to pay the penalty after a Pennsylvania state trooper slapped her with a speeding citation in Brecknock Township in central P.A. last month for doing 88 miles per hour in a 65 mph zone.
Kate pleaded guilty by mail on Aug. 17, and paid $174 in fines and court costs, according to The Intelligencer Journal of Lancaster.
The mother of twins and sextuplets tried to talk her way out of the ticket by telling the trooper she was hurrying home to her children when she was stopped around 1:37 a.m. on Aug. 9.
Kate recently admitted she’s worried about her future following the cancellation of her reality show.
“I’m freaking out. Big time,” she told People magazine.
“Nobody was ready to leave the show. I’ve never quit a job in my life without having something else lined up. I don’t know what’s next.
“I told the kids I will work my fingers to the bone to make sure that they can stay here and go to their school.
“There are no guarantees in life for anyone, but they know that I’m giving it my best shot.”
