Robert Pattinson has been given some responsibility!
The actor who’s currently dating his Twilight costar Kristen Stewart has been named the godfather to Matilda Sturridge‘s newborn son. Matilda is an actress and the little sister of Rob’s best friend Tom Sturridge.
Rob met Matilda when he and Tom were teenage classmates at Harrodian School in England. They all went on to pursue careers in acting and have stayed close friends.
Matilda, 23, gave birth to her first child a baby boy on September 4.
Sources say Rob s honored to be asked, and celebrated his new role with a night in London with Tom and his girlfriend Sienna Miller last week!
