Simon Cowell talks morning routine
Simon Cowell says his mornings are strictly structured.
The music mogul who is renovating his London house to correct the “off center” brickwork has revealed his wakeup routine.
“I always hit the snooze button three times. On the third snooze button, breakfast arrives,” he said.
“While they’re doing that, they’re running a bath for me next door. They know exactly the temperature, just above lukewarm.”
Recent reports claimed the music mogul is in talks about bringing a humorous version of the TV talent show X Factor to London’s West End.
“Simon is excited by the idea of taking the X Factor brand on to the stage,” a source said.
“He is looking at the types of songs he would like and what sort of script is needed.
“It would be a perfect night out for X Factor fans and former stars of the show could even be involved in it.
“Simon doesn’t want a super-serious musical. He thinks if this is going to be something that works, it needs to be funny and have songs people might sing along to, but also laugh along with.
Cowell has also held discussions about the musical with music producer and composer Steve Brown.
“Steve is very excited at the prospect of working with Simon,” said the source.
“He has recently been invited into his inner circle, helping last year’s runner-up Rebecca Ferguson on her debut album. On top of that, he knows how to make songs which will get a laugh, so he could be the perfect man for the job.
“It seems like a great idea and given how much Simon enjoys making money, I’m surprised he hadn’t thought of it sooner.”
